JAK on Vegetables
Grill, Bake, Steam, Boil – VEGETABLES – Broccoli, Lettuce, Squash, Cucumbers, Tomatoes
Use JAK on different vegetables, cold cut or cooked! Simply shake on cut cucumbers, sliced red or green tomatoes, a salad, or steamed broccoli. JAK adds that Midwest home taste, not hot or exotic, just flavorful!
JAK on Brussel Sprouts
INGREDIENTS
1-12 ounces brussel sprouts
6 pieces of Bacon, drippings and pieces
1-2 tsp JAK
DIRECTIONS
1. Place bacon pieces in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels, leaving grease in the skillet.
2.Cook onion in the bacon grease in the skillet until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3.Add Brussels sprouts and toss to coat in the bacon grease. Cook and stir until browned and tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in JAK Seasoning. Sprinkle in bacon pieces.
JAK in Dip
INGREDIENTS
1 lb cream cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tsp JAK
DIRECTIONS
1.Warm cream cheese in microwave, 30-60 seconds, and mix until soft.
2. Add ¾ cup sour cream and mix until smooth.
3. Add 2 Tsp of JAK into the mix. Refrigerate until thick mixture solidifies.
Good for dipping pretzels, chips, and vegetables. Put a dollop on your baked potato. Use in soup to create a thick base. Add to warm vegetables to create a creamy dish. Use in casseroles to add flavor.
